Fire and Flow

Do you feel like you are only accessing part of your energy? Do you spend so much of your time in the Fire of “doing”, but find it hard to connect with your creativity? Or alternatively, do you swim in the Flow of tremendous ideas, dreams and visions, but struggle to bring them into reality? Do you swing back and forth between being creative and effective, but not really feeling like you can be both?
Creativity begins in the watery depths of the 2nd Chakra. Our Power to act in the world burns with the fire of our 3rd Chakra. Often, we are stronger in one ability than the other. And our culture supports the idea that we can only be one or the other – the “Sensitive Creative Dreamer” or the “Powerful Rational Doer”. And when we can only access one facet of ourselves, to the exclusion of others, we end up feeling fatigued, depleted and uninspired or unsuccessful. We cannot truly thrive without both.
Separately, Creativity and Power are each only part of the picture. When the water element of the 2nd Chakra meets the Fire of the 3rd, in equal force, an Alchemy happens. A new form is created, with its own power and abilities. Steam emerges out of the marriage of fire and water, just as a new force emerges from us when we find the way to live in the world with both our Creativity AND our Power.
Using teachings and techniques from Tantra, Chakra Therapy, Energy work and other modalities, this workshop will:
– Help you to identify your strengths and blocks to living as a powerful, creative being.
– Introduce techniques for accessing both your power and creativity.
– Offer you an experience of feeling both energies simultaneously.
– Provide you with tools for bringing the experience into your daily life.
– Allow the opportunity for direct input, feedback and process with Dianne.
This workshop runs from 10a-6p, with a 1-hour lunch break.
